We are glad you are interested in practicing talking together with an animal!

To get started, greet the animal and ask if they have time to talk with you. Remember that animals also lead busy lives even though we may not see all that they do. If they aren’t available, check back later.

Introduce yourself and explain why you are reaching out to them: that you are a member of the Animal Talk Coaching & Mastery Club and learning to better communicate with animals and would appreciate their help. You can ask them any questions you want. Typically they do provide a response. Please share your impressions of their personality, energy, how they feel and any insights they may share with you. By sharing what you get, the animal’s person can provide you with feedback and others can jump in too.

Use the Forum SEARCH field (located at the top of the right column below the picture of the Featured Animal Teacher) to find more discussions involving this animal (or other animals with the same name).

Some conversations have been lively, and we’ve learned some amazing insights, and laughed at jokes. Remember that this is a safe place to practice. This is about practice and learning, it is not about getting it perfect. The animals have much to teach us, to share with us and we with them

I connected with Carol H’s dog Bailey. He is quite the character. When we first connected, I must have caught him by surprise. He tilted his head as if to say “Who are you? Why are you here? I told him I was a student learning animal communication and I was hoping he would spend a few minutes talking with me. He agreed.
      (T) I asked him if he was the only animal in the home?

      (B) I got a very fuzzy picture of something black in a far corner of an adjoining room. I couldn’t tell if it was a cat or a dog or if it was from the past or present.

(T). I asked him what he liked to do for fun?

      (B) First I got a flash of a birthday hat and then it changed to a clown’s hat. He likes to party and make others laugh.

      (B) I like to run around really fast and jump like a goat for no reason. It’s fun.

      (B) I like going for car rides a lot! – no idea but I kept seeing a powder blue car or a silver car.

      (T) Is there anything you want me to tell your parents?

      (B) Hello?? Do you know who my Mom is? She has been doing this stuff longer than you. I can just tell her myself, thanks.

      (T) Palm of hand smacks my forehead! …of course, what was I thinking 🤣

      (T) Thank you so much for talking with me! I absolutely love your quick wit and sense of humor. I’m sure your house if full of laughter and that is a wonderful gift.

I think I connected with Beau for a short time just moments ago. I asked if this was a good time to talk and he said “Sure, why not?” He could talk but also had to keep watch over something – maybe kids, or the yard, or both? I wasn’t clear on what but there was a feeling of him watching over things. I asked him what kinds of things he does and I saw guarding, playing – perhaps with a big, red ball – sniffing a garden or flower area, and tracking something small that lives underground, like moles or mice. He feels that is important to protect his family from such intruders, plus it is fun and interesting.

I then asked what was his favorite thing to do and I again saw sniffing flowers, then walking, running and swimming. I thought maybe he gets to go for walks where he can smell plants and run, and sometimes gets to go to a place where he can swim.

He likes the responsibility of watching over the family but also really likes to let loose and have fun. He also enjoys nights once the family is all in bed so he can just relax and not worry about where everyone is and what they are doing. He sleeps well and I got the idea he snores and thinks it’s funny.

Beau had to leave suddenly to greet someone or check out some kind of disturbance. I thanked him as he was running off.

I tried to communicate with Beau, a boxer, who belongs to Carol Henson. I got the feeling that he is attracted to a male in the household.. I asked if he was sad and he said he was just wondering what his owner wanted and what he was doing with that box. My owner is very kind but also strict. i love him especially when he plays with me with the ball. Life is good; I enjoy it. I even get to sleep on the bed sometimes if I’m good, I like cats. I like to chase them.
